1. Controller and contact
For the purposes of this policy, Bloguno is the controller of personal data processed through the public marketing site, contact forms, product onboarding, and customer account workflows, except where another party is clearly identified as the controller for a specific integration or customer-managed publishing environment.
You can contact us about privacy matters, data rights requests, or security concerns at hello@bloguno.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data processed through the Bloguno website, legal pages, cookie banner, contact form, customer accounts, AI-assisted content workflows, CMS and publishing integrations, customer support interactions, and operational logs associated with those services.
3. Categories of personal data we collect
- Identity and contact data such as name, work email, company or website details, and support communications.
- Account and workspace data such as login details, plan selection, workspace settings, billing references, and service usage records.
- Content workflow data such as prompts, content inputs, imported CMS material, outputs, metadata, internal links, topic plans, and publication settings.
- Technical and device data such as IP address, security logs, browser-level information, session-level diagnostics, and activity needed to secure and operate the service.
- Preference data such as cookie preferences and language settings stored through cookies or local storage.
4. Sources of data
We collect data directly from you, from users you authorize in your workspace, from connected CMS and publishing tools, from public website pages you ask us to analyze, from payment or infrastructure providers involved in operating the service, and from security or anti-abuse technologies used on the website.
5. Why we process personal data
- To provide, host, secure, and support Bloguno and its website analysis, AI generation, Auto Pilot, and publishing workflows.
- To create and manage accounts, authenticate users, process requests, and respond to support, sales, or partnership inquiries.
- To connect websites, CMS platforms, webhooks, and other publishing channels you choose to link.
- To improve service quality, product reliability, abuse prevention, and platform security.
- To process billing, keep records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, Bloguno generally processes personal data on one or more of the following bases:
- Performance of a contract, such as creating accounts, processing requests, operating content workflows, and delivering the product you requested.
- Legitimate interests, such as securing the service, preventing abuse, improving reliability, responding to product inquiries, and defending legal claims.
- Consent, where required for optional cookies, preference storage beyond what is strictly necessary, or optional communications.
- Legal obligation, where processing is required for accounting, compliance, lawful requests, or recordkeeping duties.
7. AI-assisted processing
Content you submit, connect, import, or instruct Bloguno to analyze may be processed by internal systems and service providers to generate AI-assisted outputs, content suggestions, drafts, metadata, or workflow recommendations. You should not submit special-category data, highly confidential regulated data, or personal data you are not authorized to use in the workflow unless your own legal basis, notices, and agreements permit that use.
Where you use Bloguno to create, adapt, schedule, or publish content for your own site, brand, or clients, you remain responsible for determining whether the resulting content may lawfully be used, published, or shared. Bloguno acts as a tool and service provider in that workflow; it does not assume legal responsibility for the final claims, disclosures, permissions, or publication choices you make.
8. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep the site functional, remember consent choices, apply language preferences, operate security tools, and understand site performance where consent has been given. See our Cookie Policy for a more detailed breakdown.
9. Sharing and recipients
We may disclose personal data to categories of recipients that help us operate Bloguno, including hosting and infrastructure providers, security and anti-bot providers, analytics providers where consent is given, payment and billing providers, communication or support tools, email delivery services, and AI or workflow providers involved in generating requested outputs. We do not sell personal information.
10. International transfers
Bloguno and its service providers may process data in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the EEA or UK where relevant. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or comparable legal mechanisms.
11. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, service delivery, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. In practice, retention may vary by category:
- Contact form submissions and support messages are typically retained for customer communication and follow-up needs.
- Account, billing, and transactional records may be retained longer where required for finance, tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
- Security, anti-abuse, and operational logs may be retained for a limited period appropriate to service integrity and incident review.
- Content workflow data may remain in your workspace until deleted, overwritten, or removed under your account settings or support request, subject to backup and compliance needs.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent for certain processing. If GDPR applies, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. See our Data Rights page for a plain-language summary.
13. Children
Bloguno is intended for professional and business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in contexts where parental consent would be required.
14. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the service and associated data. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, and you remain responsible for protecting your own accounts, CMS credentials, workspace permissions, and publication process.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers, legal obligations, or data practices change. If changes are material, we may update the effective date, revise these legal pages, or provide additional notice where appropriate.
16. Contact and requests
Privacy questions, rights requests, or security notices can be sent to hello@bloguno.com. To protect account security, we may ask for reasonable verification before acting on certain requests.
